What You'll Do9
- 1Lead Workday Payroll configuration for cross-team initiatives, ensuring alignment with business requirements and Workday best practices.
- 2Design scalable payroll solutions that integrate seamlessly with upstream and downstream Workday processes.
- 3Partner with Product Owners to analyze stakeholder feedback and usage data, recommending design and prioritization decisions.
- 4Deliver one-on-one consulting and office hours sessions to accelerate adoption of Workday Payroll features.
- 5Troubleshoot and optimize payroll configurations to resolve stakeholder issues and enhance efficiency.
- 6Create and deliver presentations on Workday Payroll capabilities, enhancements, and best practices.
- 7Conduct research on Workday roadmap and feature evolution to guide future configuration strategies.
- 8Review Workday tenants to identify adoption opportunities and align configuration with business goals.
- 9Evaluate payroll-related business requirements and propose configuration approaches balancing compliance, scalability, and user experience.
Requirements10
- 15+ years of experience with HCM systems, Workday preferred, including configuring Workday Payroll.
- 28+ years of experience designing, building, and supporting enterprise processes and enabling systems.
- 3Proven track record in defining business problems, researching user needs, prototyping, and testing solutions in an Agile environment.
- 4Collaborative style that enables successful completion of complex product roadmaps across teams.
- 5Excellent organizational, collaboration, and communication skills, delivering content to both developer and business leader audiences.
- 6Strong analytical skills, adept at exploring ambiguous problem spaces and using data to build actionable work units.
- 7Self-directed with the ability to proactively identify needs and make valuable contributions.
- 8Mastery of one or more Workday product areas, with strong preference for expertise in Workday Payroll.
- 9Strong functional and technical understanding of Workday architecture, including Business Process Framework, Security, user interface, and reporting.
- 10Demonstrated knowledge of Workday Payroll configuration, payroll process flows, payroll-related security, testing considerations, and stakeholder support practices.
