Overview
As a Workday HRIS Analyst at Axiom Space, you will own the design, configuration, and governance of our Workday ecosystem, supporting Core HCM, Benefits, Advance Compensation, Absence Management, and Payroll. You will partner with People & Culture, Finance, IT, and business leaders to translate needs into technical solutions, ensuring operational excellence and compliance. This hybrid role (two days in office) requires local candidates and offers the chance to build the HR infrastructure supporting a mission-driven human spaceflight company. You will drive system enhancements, data integrity, and user support, making a measurable impact on our growth.
What You'll Do10
- 1Configure and maintain Workday modules: Core HCM, Benefits, Advance Compensation, Absence Management, and Payroll to meet organizational needs.
- 2Serve as first-line support for HR system users, resolving issues and escalating when needed.
- 3Run scheduled data integrity checks, process flow tests, and system security testing.
- 4Implement best practice approaches to accomplish project goals with Division and Department leaders.
- 5Review, test, and implement system enhancements to optimize functionality.
- 6Document configurations, change logs, user guides, and backup procedures for continuity.
- 7Collaborate with vendors and system administrators to coordinate integration strategies.
- 8Develop customized reports to support ongoing organizational needs.
- 9Maintain data integrity, system compliance, and privacy requirements across all HR systems.
- 10Communicate project progress and potential issues to stakeholders, applying agile methodologies.
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 22+ years of experience as an HRIS Analyst, preferably with Workday.
- 3Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- 4Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint ERP.
- 5Knowledge of HCM software implementation and integration.
- 6Demonstrated ability to solve problems proactively in a fast-moving environment.
- 7Strong organizational skills to meet tight deadlines with high-quality results.
- 8Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- 9High level of discretion with confidential matters.
- 10Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for space and the mission.
