Wiz Security Process Lead, Cloud Security
Overview
You will design, implement, and maintain Wiz cloud security processes and tools, automating complex cyber activities in federal environments. You will lead the development of security workflows, remediation processes, and governance standards, partnering with cloud engineering, security operations, and compliance teams to drive vulnerabilities to closure. Your work will shape how security findings are operationalized across a large enterprise, with ownership of end-to-end process improvement. This role demands deep Wiz expertise and the ability to mentor junior team members.
What You'll Do8
- 1Lead development of Wiz security workflows, remediation processes, and escalation paths.
- 2Own standard operating procedures and playbooks for cloud security operations.
- 3Partner with cloud engineering and DevSecOps teams to integrate Wiz into CI/CD pipelines.
- 4Define service-level expectations and governance processes for Wiz capabilities.
- 5Drive vulnerability and exposure remediation to closure across multi-cloud environments.
- 6Automate security tooling via Terraform and scripting (e.g., Python).
- 7Establish performance metrics for security process effectiveness.
- 8Mentor and supervise team members on Wiz best practices.
Requirements8
- 15+ years in cloud security, cybersecurity operations, security engineering, or vulnerability management.
- 25+ years deploying, configuring, and administering Wiz in large, complex, multi-cloud environments.
- 3Experience with CNAPP or CSPM tools such as Palo Alto Cortex, Prisma Cloud, or Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
- 4Experience defining security workflows, remediation processes, escalation paths, SOPs, and playbooks.
- 5Experience supporting security tooling within federal environments.
- 6Experience as a platform engineer, integrating security tools with SIEM/SOAR, ticketing systems, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services.
- 7Ability to automate tooling and workflows via APIs, Terraform, or scripting.
- 8Bachelor's degree.
