Cyber Security Analyst – Enterprise Systems IT
Overview
The Cyber Security Analyst leads enterprise security initiatives to protect IOA systems. This fully remote role supports EST/CST time zones and offers flexibility for candidates within a 50-mile radius of Longwood FL. You will design and implement security frameworks while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
What You'll Do11
- 1Design and deploy security platforms using Python and AWS to enhance threat detection capabilities
- 2Monitor network traffic and system logs with SIEM tools to identify anomalies and respond to threats
- 3Lead incident response efforts to contain breaches and coordinate with internal and external partners
- 4Conduct vulnerability scans and prioritize remediation using Kubernetes and Cloud Security platforms
- 5Manage endpoint protection and firewall configurations to safeguard organizational assets
- 6Oversee user access provisioning through identity security protocols and compliance standards
- 7Develop and enforce security policies aligned with regulatory requirements
- 8Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies based on emerging threats
- 9Drive security awareness programs and train teams on best practices
- 10Maintain detailed documentation for audits and incident investigations
- 11Collaborate with the Information Security Manager to improve security operations
Requirements11
- 15+ years experience in cybersecurity roles with focus on threat monitoring and incident response
- 2Hands-on expertise with firewalls antivirus solutions and patch management tools
- 3Familiarity with log analysis and SIEM platforms preferred
- 4Security+ certification recommended for foundational knowledge
- 5CISSP certification preferred for advanced security leadership
- 6Strong analytical skills to assess risks and develop mitigation plans
- 7Proficiency in Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Wiz tools for modern threat detection
- 8Effective communication abilities for cross-team collaboration
- 9Ability to adapt to dynamic environments with multiple priorities
