What You'll Do11
- 1Deliver hands-on clinical instruction using approved materials
- 2Supervise students to ensure safe patient care
- 3Facilitate nursing skills demonstrations and competency validation
- 4Integrate theory into clinical and simulation-based learning
- 5Lead pre- and post-clinical conferences
- 6Evaluate student performance against academic criteria
- 7Maintain accurate documentation of attendance and evaluations
- 8Foster professional learning environment promoting accountability
- 9Ensure compliance with university policies and regulations
- 10Participate in department meetings and faculty activities
- 11Support student engagement through mentorship
Requirements11
- 1Current active California Registered Nurse license
- 2Bachelor's degree
- 3Minimum four years clinical nursing experience within past five years
- 4One year acute care experience within past five years
- 5One year specialty clinical experience within past five years
- 6Basic Life Support and CPR certification
- 7Previous clinical teaching or precepting experience preferred
- 8Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- 9Proficiency in Microsoft Word Outlook and PowerPoint
- 10ATI and CourseKey experience preferred
- 11Up-to-date immunization records
