What You'll Do6

  • 1Audit public-facing web pages and PDFs for WCAG 2.1 compliance, documenting issues in a tracking system.
  • 2Implement accessibility fixes in HTML, CSS, and PDF tags, ensuring keyboard navigation and screen reader compatibility.
  • 3Collaborate with content authors to remediate documents using Adobe Acrobat Pro and CommonLook.
  • 4Run automated scans with axe and WAVE, then manually test with JAWS or NVDA.
  • 5Deliver weekly compliance reports to the project lead, highlighting patterns and recommendations.
  • 6Provide training to internal teams on accessible content creation and common pitfalls.

Requirements7

  • 12+ years experience in web accessibility testing and remediation.
  • 2Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 AA standards and Section 508 requirements.
  • 3Hands-on experience with axe, WAVE, JAWS, and NVDA.
