Water Softener Installer - Plumbing & RO Systems
Overview
You will install whole-home water softeners and reverse osmosis systems for homeowners in the Twin Cities. You will handle 1-3 installs per week, scaling to 30-60 per month within 90 days. You will work independently, manage basic plumbing tie-ins, and represent the company in client homes. This role offers a path to full-time W2 employment as the company grows.
What You'll Do8
- 1Install 10x54 whole-home water softener and filtration systems.
- 2Install under-sink 5-stage reverse osmosis systems, including tankless models.
- 3Perform basic plumbing tie-ins, system testing, and cleanup.
- 4Interact professionally with homeowners, explain system operation, and request Google reviews (extra pay).
- 5Manage your own schedule, accepting jobs with 48-72 hours notice.
- 6Maintain your own tools and reliable transportation for onsite work.
- 7Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues on the spot.
- 8Document completed installs and report any issues to the company.
Requirements8
- 11+ year of water softener installation experience (preferred).
- 2Proven plumbing skills (licensed preferred but not required).
- 3Own tools and reliable transportation (company vehicle available as you grow).
- 4Ability to work onsite in Forest Lake, MN 55025.
- 5Punctual, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions.
- 6Comfortable interacting with homeowners in a professional manner.
- 7Willingness to accept flexible work schedule and adapt to changing volume.
- 8Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 100 lbs).
Salary Insight
$146 - $260k per year
