Water Restoration Project Manager
Overview
You own the field execution of water, fire, smoke, and mold mitigation projects in Raleigh, NC. You direct crews on-site, manage drying equipment, and ensure SERVPRO quality standards. This role reports to the Mitigation Operations/Production Manager and coordinates with the Job File Coordinator. You provide hands-on guidance, not formal HR duties. You bring IICRC certifications and Docusketch experience to deliver fast, compliant restoration.
What You'll Do10
- 1Direct crews on assigned mitigation projects from start to finish, ensuring SERVPRO processes.
- 2Set up staging and drying equipment, coordinate job requirements, and monitor moisture readings daily.
- 3Perform water extraction, structural drying, and fire/mold remediation activities.
- 4Drive job flow to hit schedule targets, communicating progress to the Operations/Production Manager.
- 5Identify safety hazards and enforce safety procedures on every job site.
- 6Review job file documentation, including photos and readings, for accuracy and completeness.
- 7Communicate with customers, adjusters, and stakeholders to answer questions and provide updates.
- 8Control job costs, labor time, and material usage to stay within budget.
- 9Maintain equipment, tools, and vehicles; resolve production issues quickly and escalate as needed.
- 10Keep job sites clean and orderly, and support technician training by demonstrating best practices.
Requirements10
- 12+ years of mitigation/restoration field experience, with crew leadership preferred.
- 2Knowledge of drying equipment, moisture documentation, and IICRC standards.
- 3High school diploma or GED required; IICRC certifications preferred.
- 4Strong written and oral communication skills.
- 5Demonstrated organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
- 6Ability to lead and direct crews with constructive daily feedback.
- 7Docusketch experience preferred.
- 8Valid driver's license approved by our insurance company.
- 9Willingness to travel locally or out of state; available for on-call rotation including weekends.
- 10Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds with assistance; physical stamina for demanding tasks.
Salary Insight
