What You'll Do10

  • 1Lead on-site crews to execute mitigation work for fire and water damage, ensuring safety and quality standards
  • 2Operate moisture meters, hygrometers, and thermal imagers to document conditions and progress
  • 3Build detailed estimates with Xactimate, including floor plans and site notes, for insurance approval
  • 4Direct and manage technicians and helpers, assigning tasks and monitoring performance
  • 5Coordinate with warehouse to track tools, materials, and equipment inventory
  • 6Enter job data into PSA and Encircle for timecards, photos, and moisture logs
  • 7Respond to emergency calls during assigned on-call weeks to secure projects
  • 8Fill in for the Project Manager during absences, handling crew assignments and customer communication
  • 9Mentor and train junior staff to develop their skills and readiness for promotion
  • 10Set containment barriers and conduct mold remediation per IICRC standards

Requirements9

  • 1IICRC certification with at least 3 classes passed, working toward journeyman level
  • 23+ years in restoration or remediation, with experience leading crews
  • 3Proficiency in Xactimate, PSA, and Encircle for project management
  • 4Valid driver's license with clean record for company vehicle operation
  • 5Expert use of moisture meters, hygrometers, and thermal imagers
  • 6Knowledge of mold remediation post-test standards and containment procedures
  • 7Ability to perform structural drying and sewage cleanup safely
  • 8Strong communication skills for customer and adjuster interactions
  • 9Experience managing both residential and commercial projects
