Overview
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team in Seattle. This role involves receiving and processing shipments while maintaining accurate inventory records. The position requires reliability and a willingness to perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do11
- 1Receive and unload deliveries and inspect contents for damage or errors
- 2Compare delivered items to packing slips and purchase orders to verify accuracy
- 3Report damages or shortages to the appropriate department or supplier
- 4Sort, label, organize, and move received goods to storage areas
- 5Verify product quality packaging and adherence to vendor compliance policies
- 6Perform daily inspections of equipment including forklifts and reach trucks
- 7Assist with replenishment by dropping merchandise for reserve to pick slots
- 8Accurately select and pick merchandise from assigned slots confirming quantities
- 9Load merchandise into appropriate trucks and repack items for shipping
- 10Identify and report slot and put-away problems
- 11Shrink wrap merchandise and pallets after picking as needed
Requirements5
- 10-3 years of experience in receiving and warehouse operations
- 2Ability to operate a reach truck
- 3Reliable transportation
- 4Willingness to work independently without prior training on specific equipment
- 5Basic knowledge of warehouse labor standards
