Warehouse Attendant, Full Time at Canteen Kansas City
Overview
Own warehousing operations at a full time scale, receiving storing and distributing materials and products. Join a team that supports production flow through attentive inventory management and order fulfillment. This role emphasizes hands-on tasks, training availability, and a standard Monday–Friday schedule starting at 5:00 am. You will work onsite at the Lenexa facility and collaborate with logistics and food service teams to ensure accurate material handling.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and move materials from receiving to storage and designated areas
- 2Assemble customer orders from stock and prepare pallets for packing
- 3Record quantities received and distributed in computer systems
- 4Verify items against schedules and requisitions to ensure correct materials
- 5Convey items to production workers and shipping department
- 6Open and inspect containers and mark materials for tracking
- 7Maintain accurate inventory records and organize stock by predefined attributes
- 8Prepare parcels for mailing and arrange stock for assembly by others
- 9Operate vehicles to transport stored items and pick up materials as needed
- 10Follow HACCP standards and safety procedures to ensure proper temperatures and handling
Requirements9
- 1Previous warehouse experience preferred
- 2Ability to stand, lift and move materials as required by the job
- 3Willingness to train and learn standard operating procedures
- 4Able to read production and shipping orders and follow written instructions
- 5Ability to operate basic computer systems and enter records
- 6Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory handling
- 7Commitment to safety policies including proper use of gloves and protective gear
- 8Availability to work Monday through Friday with 5:00 am start time
- 9Must be able to pass background screening as required by location
