Warehouse Associate, Seasonal at Bass Pro Shops
Overview
Own the accurate picking packing and shipping workflow in a high volume distribution center. You will contribute to fulfillment accuracy and speed across multiple departments with cross training opportunities. This role emphasizes physical stamina and teamwork to meet daily order demands in a non climate controlled environment.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and process customer orders by inspecting merchandise and matching to orders
- 2Pack customer orders for shipment and verify readiness for routing
- 3Stock merchandise to ensure item availability and maintain accurate locations
- 4Use scanners to read barcodes and guide fulfillment decisions
- 5Sort merchandise and process returns while maintaining a clean work area
- 6Reassign pick locations based on reports and adjust inventories
- 7Perform loading and unloading of trailers including heavy items up to 50 lbs
- 8Repair and evaluate reel models to determine warranty coverage
- 9Assist with special projects as needed in a cross trained DC team
- 10Adhere to safety procedures and quality standards in daily tasks
Requirements10
- 1Must be 18 years of age
- 2Ability to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs
- 3Flexible schedule with mandatory overtime when scheduled
- 4Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- 5Good verbal and written communication skills
- 6Team player with courteous professional communication
- 7Experience in a fast paced distribution environment preferred
- 8Availability to work indoor non climate controlled environment
- 9Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities
- 10No travel required
