Warehouse Associate, Oilfield Services - Houston TX
Overview
You will own daily warehouse operations at Halliburton's Houston facility, handling material movement, inventory support, and housekeeping across a high-volume oilfield supply chain. You'll work with Forklifts and material handling equipment, supporting a team of 50,000+ employees. This 6-month contract offers potential extension or conversion, with a Monday-Friday 8am-4pm schedule and pay up to $17.69/hour. You'll join a century-old energy leader, contributing to safe, efficient operations that power the industry.
What You'll Do8
- 1Support increased warehouse activity by moving materials with Forklifts and manual handling.
- 2Own daily housekeeping tasks, keeping aisles, docks, and storage areas clean and hazard-free.
- 3Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation, using basic computer systems for tracking.
- 4Load and unload trucks, verifying counts against paperwork and reporting discrepancies.
- 5Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE, maintaining a secure work environment.
- 6Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving deadlines.
- 7Operate material handling equipment safely, completing pre-shift inspections.
- 8Maintain organized storage areas, labeling and staging materials for efficient retrieval.
Requirements8
- 1High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2Valid Driver's License required.
- 31+ year warehouse or physical labor experience preferred.
- 4Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for full shifts.
- 5Basic computer skills for inventory systems and scanning.
- 6Proven record of punctuality and dependability for scheduled shifts.
- 7Strong teamwork skills, collaborating effectively with diverse crews.
- 8Willingness to follow all safety rules and maintain a clean workspace.
