Overview
You will own warehouse operations for a water restoration company in Miami, handling equipment intake, storage, and shipment. No experience required, starting at $16.00/hour. You will work with spreadsheets and inventory software, ensuring tools are ready for crews. This role demands physical stamina, clear communication, and a commitment to safety, with opportunities to support hurricane responses.
What You'll Do10
- 1Receive and unload equipment from company trucks, verifying shipments against paperwork.
- 2Pick and load materials requested by crew chiefs, ensuring accuracy and timely dispatch.
- 3Enter equipment and inventory movements into the inventory software to maintain real-time records.
- 4Conduct weekly and monthly physical inventory counts, reconciling with spreadsheet logs.
- 5Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization, including trash removal and facility upkeep.
- 6Perform small repairs on warehouse vans, including lights and mirrors, and change A/C filters monthly.
- 7Verify Dash equipment accuracy and report discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager.
- 8Manage material inventory, supplying production staff with needed items and controlling stock levels.
- 9Keep parking lot and dumpster areas clean, and manage vehicle logs for departures.
- 10Support emergency response by assisting with after-hours calls and hurricane season preparations.
Requirements8
- 1No prior experience required, but proficiency with phones/tablets and spreadsheets is essential.
- 2Ability to lift and carry up to 50+ pounds regularly.
- 3Comfortable working in various weather conditions and physical environments, including stairs and ladders.
- 4Strong communication, listening, and teamwork skills.
- 5Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- 6Willingness to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm, with possible schedule changes.
- 7Must be able to travel during hurricane season or large losses if needed.
- 8Commitment to following safety measures, including wearing steel-toe boots.
