Overview
You own the delivery load from warehouse to customer site, ensuring safe and accurate unloading at each stop. You start each morning with truck inspections, verifying loads, and helping load materials. You ride along with the driver, assisting with unloading at customer locations. This role demands physical stamina, teamwork, and attention to safety in warehouse and outdoor settings. Warehouse, Delivery, and Safety are key. What You'll Do9
- 1Assist with truck inspections and load verification before departures.
- 2Help load delivery trucks with materials as needed using proper lifting techniques.
- 3Accompany the driver on daily delivery routes, navigating to customer locations.
- 4Unload building products safely at each stop, using appropriate handling methods.
- 5Verify delivered items match shipping documents, reporting discrepancies or damage.
- 6Follow all safety procedures and attend safety meetings.
- 7Communicate with driver and warehouse team on delivery progress and issues.
- 8Maintain a positive, professional attitude with customers and team.
- 9Perform other warehouse duties as assigned, including organizing stock.
Requirements8
- 1Valid Driver's License preferred.
- 2Ability to lift 50-100 pounds repeatedly with a helper.
- 3Warehouse, construction, or building material experience a plus.
- 4Strong work ethic and reliability.
- 5Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- 6Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- 7Pass drug test and pre-employment physical.
- 8Available to work weekdays with occasional Saturday overtime.
