What You'll Do11
- 1Load delivery vehicles with customer orders or freight
- 2Execute safe deliveries using various vehicle types
- 3Maintain vehicle safety through regular preventative maintenance
- 4Perform daily inspections and document fuel usage
- 5Report accidents or damage immediately
- 6Assist with warehouse housekeeping tasks
- 7Verify and return returned merchandise
- 8Operate forklifts and handle heavy materials
- 9Follow safe lifting and material handling practices
- 10Provide courteous customer service at job sites
- 11Complete required driver documentation
Requirements10
- 1Active driver’s license with medical card
- 2Valid identification
- 3Ability to pass drug screening
- 4Valid physical fitness for lifting 100+ pound items
- 5Knowledge of lumber and building materials
- 6Familiarity with delivery methods and techniques
- 7Experience with forklift operation
- 8Strong communication skills
- 9Experience with vehicle maintenance procedures
