What You'll Do11
- 1Provide independent balanced advice to senior stakeholders on problem identification and decision making
- 2Develop strategic advisory incentives to grow and optimise bank’s operations via market research and analysis
- 3Collaborate with stakeholder groups to determine appropriate strategic direction for clients and investors
- 4Create financial models supporting strategic recommendations and transactions through data analysis
- 5Manage transactions negotiate structures and ensure post transaction integration
- 6Maintain client relationships and develop new partnerships to identify opportunities
- 7Identify industry trends and conduct market research to track developments in strategic advisory services
- 8Define jobs and responsibilities for team members and plan departmental future needs
- 9Guide specialists and lead multi year assignments aligning with strategic priorities
- 10Train and coach less experienced staff while identifying need for additional specialization
- 11Advise key stakeholders on functional and cross functional impacts and alignment
Requirements11
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Experience covering Card or Financial Services programs
- 3Driving strategic projects and solving high impact business tasks with ability to influence stakeholders
- 4Understanding of retail financial services including co brand and private label solutions
- 5Ability to communicate multi layered business inquiries with clarity
- 6Progressive oversight experience overseeing partner programs and end to end PnL performance
- 7Strong leadership behaviours aligning with Barclays values of Respect Integrity Service Excellence and Stewardship
- 8Demonstrated expertise in risk management controls governance and organizational risks
- 9Experience with AI and machine learning solutions for strategic planning
- 10Progressive oversight experience in a matrixed environment across multiple geographies
- 11Skills in change and transformation business acumen strategic thinking and digital technology
