The Animal Cancer & Referral Center launches Radiation Oncology at its new state-of-the-art specialty hospital in Houston Texas. This full-time role supports building a cutting-edge service while collaborating with medical oncology and surgical teams. It offers a chance to master advanced radiation therapy procedures and CT-based treatment planning.
What You'll Do11
- 1Assist with radiation therapy procedures and patient treatments
- 2Perform anesthesia calculations induction monitoring and recovery
- 3Prepare and position patients for CT imaging and radiation treatment planning
- 4Monitor patients throughout radiation procedures and recovery
- 5Obtain patient vitals and perform advanced patient assessments
- 6Place IV catheters and perform advanced venipuncture
- 7Collect and process laboratory samples
- 8Administer medications and treatments accurately
- 9Educate and support clients throughout their pet's cancer journey
- 10Collaborate closely with Radiation Oncology Medical Oncology Surgical Oncology and ICU teams
- 11Help establish workflows protocols and best practices for a growing service
Requirements11
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 25+ years experience with data tools
- 3Oncology experience is a plus but not required
- 4Strong anesthesia and patient monitoring skills
- 5Detail-oriented comfort with calculations and protocols
- 6Thrive in a fast-paced specialty environment
- 7Value teamwork communication and patient advocacy
- 8Enjoy learning new technologies and procedures
- 9Have a passion for oncology anesthesia surgery or ECC
- 10Preferential qualifications include specialty emergency ICU anesthesia surgery or advanced GP experience
