Vending Attendant, Part Time at Canteen
Overview
Own vending service at a single location and support cash handling for daily operations. Part time schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:00 pm to 7:30 pm in Mountain View, CA. You will stock machines, handle transactions, and collaborate with customers to ensure service quality. This role offers exposure to hospitality operations and a path to growth within Canteen.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build stock levels and maintain machine shelves including soft drinks, bakery items, snacks, and sundries
- 2Record transactions with cards or electronic devices and manage cash responsibilities
- 3Call on customers to assess service adequacy and inform them of new products or services
- 4Prepare order forms for food and pastry items and set up promotions
- 5Resolve customer service issues and maintain a clean vending area and storeroom
- 6Perform routine machine sanitation and maintenance and set up displays and promotional materials
- 7Assist with inventory control by collecting unsold items and refilling bill and coin changers
- 8Support other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements8
- 1Previous experience preferred
- 2Part time availability Monday to Friday 2:00 pm to 7:30 pm
- 3Must be able to perform essential functions with or without accommodation
- 4Ability to handle cash and operate vending machines
