Overview
You will own vending machine operations at a single customer site in West Deptford, NJ, stocking Canteen's products and collecting cash. What You'll Do10
- 1Stock shelves and racks in vending machines and coolers with soft drinks, snacks, and sundries.
- 2Collect cash from machines and refill bill and coin changers, ensuring accuracy.
- 3Record transactions on digital devices to track sales and inventory.
- 4Remove stale or unsold items and clean machine interiors and exteriors.
- 5Inspect machines for maintenance needs and perform basic repairs like changing bulbs or belts.
- 6Set up product displays and promotional materials to boost sales.
- 7Resolve customer complaints regarding product availability or machine functionality.
- 8Prepare order forms for food and pastry products based on inventory levels.
- 9Maintain a clean and organized storeroom and vending area.
- 10Report service issues to the supervisor and coordinate with tech support.
Requirements8
- 1Previous experience in vending, retail, or customer service preferred.
- 2Ability to work 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with weekend availability.
- 3Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the site.
- 4Comfort handling cash and making change accurately.
- 5Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds (e.g., cases of beverages).
- 6Basic math skills for inventory counting and cash reconciliation.
- 7Familiarity with electronic payment systems and handheld scanners.
