Overview
The Vascular Ultrasound Technician Per Diem supports FMCNA missions and adheres to compliance policies. What You'll Do9
- 1Perform patient preparation and room setup in line with FMCNA policies and regulations
- 2Move patients safely across examination tables and ensure comfort throughout the procedure
- 3Document findings report observations to physicians and maintain accurate patient charts
- 4Inspect equipment notify managers of malfunctions and recommend capital purchases
- 5Participate in quality assurance meetings and stay updated on Joint Commission standards
- 6Provide accommodation input for policy development and manage departmental logistics
- 7Travel between facilities and attend regional divisional corporate meetings
- 8Maintain infection control using approved cleaners and stock exam rooms with supplies
- 9Lead initiatives to improve workflow and support team objectives
Requirements7
- 1Registered Vascular Technologist or Registered Vascular Specialist with ARDMS Cardiovascular credentialing
- 21 year experience as RVT RVS or RCS with 4-6 years preferred
- 3CPR certification for Health Care Providers and state licensure
- 4Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- 5Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively in a healthcare setting
- 6Experience with ultrasound equipment and infection control protocols
- 7Commitment to patient safety and comfort
