What You'll Do11
- 1Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams following provider orders and protocols
- 2Verify patient identity and obtain clinical history before scanning
- 3Position patients and adjust transducers to acquire optimal images
- 4Document examinations accurately in EMR and PACS systems
- 5Educate patients on procedures and maintain privacy throughout the exam
- 6Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers for patient care continuity
- 7Maintain clean and organized exam rooms and manage equipment safety checks
- 8Analyze ultrasound images and provide complete studies for radiologist review
- 9Sterilize transducers and adhere to infection control standards
- 10Adapt imaging protocols for patients of all ages including pediatric and obstetric cases
- 11Complete ultrasound technologist worksheets with clear findings documentation
Requirements11
- 1Must have 5+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Requires basic computer skills including Microsoft Office proficiency
- 3Possesses patient care skills for diverse age groups and sensitive situations
- 4Ability to communicate procedures clearly and address patient questions
- 5Must be fluent in conversational English and learn radiology software quickly
- 6Dedicated to continuing education and maintaining current registries
- 7Proven ability to perform independent ultrasound procedures with minimal supervision
- 8Strong analytical skills to differentiate healthy from pathological areas
- 9Familiarity with specialized sonography fields including breast prostate and pediatric
- 10High school diploma or equivalent with associate degree preferred
- 11Basic Life Support CPR certification and vascular specialist registration required
