Van Delivery Driver
Overview
Drive van deliveries for wholesale customers at Gordon Food Service Store. Operate van safely and maintain accurate deliveries. Provide excellent customer service while supporting store operations.
What You'll Do11
- 1Locate and pick orders in-store for wholesale customers
- 2Build and maintain good customer relationships
- 3Perform daily pre and post trip inspections of vehicle and equipment
- 4Ensure accurate and timely deliveries of GFS products
- 5Receive and merchandise products with proper rotation
- 6Secure assets including cash and merchandise
- 7Follow company policies and procedures
- 8Assist with store operations before or after route
- 9Own and manage delivery routes efficiently
- 10Deliver products accurately and on schedule
- 11Maintain professionalism and safety while driving
Requirements11
- 1At least 1 year previous delivery driving experience and 1 year in customer service preferred
- 2Unrestricted Standard Operators License
- 3Minimum age 18 years
- 4Clean driving record with no drug or alcohol offenses in last 5 years
- 5Ability to lift 70 lbs and drive a two-wheel cart weighing up to 350 pounds
- 6Valid driver’s license
- 7Previous experience working in retail or hospitality environments
- 8Strong communication skills
- 9Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- 10Commitment to safety and customer satisfaction
- 11Willingness to undergo thorough background checks
