Overview
As a Valet Attendant at LAZ Parking, you will own the guest experience at one of Boston's premier parking facilities. You will be the first and last person customers see, setting the tone for their interaction with our brand. You will park and retrieve cars with care, direct traffic, and build rapport with every guest. What You'll Do8
- 1Park and retrieve guest vehicles with care and precision, using manual transmission skills as needed.
- 2Greet every customer with a warm smile, take care of their needs, and build a personal connection at the valet stand.
- 3Direct traffic to maintain a clean and organized flow of cars in the lot and driveway.
- 4Work with or without supervision, making independent decisions to ensure smooth operations.
- 5Go above and beyond to exceed customer expectations, turning first-time visitors into loyal clients.
- 6Handle stressful situations calmly, including challenging or emotionally charged interactions.
- 7Lift, push, and pull items up to 25 pounds while standing, walking, and running throughout your shift.
- 8Adapt to changing weather conditions, working outdoors in heat, wind, snow, and rain.
Requirements8
- 1Strong customer service experience with a dynamic and charismatic personality.
- 2Valid driver's license and a clean driving record, with cautious driving habits.
- 3Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles (preferred).
- 4Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in English (speak, read, comprehend).
- 5Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and make sound decisions independently.
- 6Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and at multiple locations.
- 7Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, open to different opinions and able to motivate others.
- 8Physical ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods, and to bend, stoop, and squat frequently.
