What You'll Do13
- 1Maintain a visible professional presence inside and around the store
- 2Conduct regular foot patrols of the store’s exterior parking areas entrances and surrounding property
- 3Deter loitering disruptive behavior theft and unauthorized access through professional communication and observation
- 4Address concerns respectfully following store policies and applicable laws
- 5De-escalate tense situations and notify management or law enforcement when appropriate
- 6Ensure customers and associates feel safe while on the property
- 7Monitor activity around entrances exits and high traffic areas
- 8Escort employees to the dumpster area and to their vehicles at shift end
- 9Report suspicious activity incidents safety hazards and policy violations to management
- 10Complete daily activity and incident reports accurately and promptly
- 11Respond to emergencies according to company procedures including contacting emergency services
- 12Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism at all times
- 13Perform other security related duties as assigned
Requirements9
- 1Previous security loss prevention customer service military or law enforcement experience preferred
- 2Valid security guard license or registration if required by law
- 3Current guard card and any required certifications preferred
- 4Strong verbal and written communication skills
- 5Ability to remain calm professional during difficult situations
- 6Ability to stand and walk for extended periods conduct regular property patrols
- 7Dependable attendance punctuality essential
- 8Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with management
- 9Must be at least 18 years old and pass required background screening
