Overview
AR DMS Certification ultrasound technologist position supporting on-site diagnostic imaging in Covina and Los Angeles area. This role conducts ultrasound examinations, assists with biopsies and vascular studies under general supervision, and ensures quality reports for radiologists. You will maintain equipment, protect patient confidentiality, and adapt to a fast-paced environment while delivering compassionate patient care. What You'll Do10
- 1Build high-quality ultrasound examination reports based on scan results
- 2Prepare exam rooms and equipment for each patient and procedure
- 3Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and vascular ultrasound procedures
- 4Recognize anatomy and pathology using sonography equipment and document findings
- 5Maintain ultrasound equipment and report any malfunctions promptly
- 6Write and review reports, escalating abnormalities to medical staff
- 7Manage multiple priorities and adapt to a fast-paced setting
- 8Communicate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare providers about images and patient care
- 9Protect patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
- 10Provide support for additional projects and professional development opportunities
Requirements10
- 1ARDMS Certification
- 2CPR/ BLS Certification
- 3Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and perform physical tasks
- 4Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- 5Strong communication skills with radiologists and healthcare team
- 6Commitment to patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- 7Experience preparing exam rooms and operating ultrasound equipment
- 8Ability to work weekends and Monday shifts on-site
- 9Self-motivated, proactive in pursuing professional development
- 10Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision
