Truck Yard Cook/Cashier
Overview
The Kitchen Cashier/Cook at Truck Yard leads the guest experience by ensuring prep lists are fulfilled, serving customers, and supporting kitchen operations. This role involves high-volume food preparation and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in a unique outdoor setting.
What You'll Do11
- 1Run the register and fulfill prep lists efficiently
- 2Serve guests and interact warmly at the register
- 3Support grill cooks with line prep and ingredient assembly
- 4Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization
- 5Operate slicers and perform food safety protocols
- 6Stock chip racks and clean kitchen floors
- 7Monitor cash drawers and report low change
- 8Follow FIFO and date labeling procedures
- 9Adhere to health regulations and avoid cross-contamination
- 10Stay until shift end and manage end-of-shift cashouts
- 11Assist with morning prep and shift coordination
Requirements10
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons leading fast-paced service teams
- 3CPC Card certification preferred
- 4BCBA credential valued
- 5AWS Certified relevant experience
- 6Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- 7Ability to lift 45 pounds and stand for full shifts
- 8Experience with POS systems and inventory management
- 9Excellent communication skills for customer interaction
- 10Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace
