What You'll Do8
- 1Operate Class A tractor-trailer on dedicated semi-local routes across VA, NC, DC, PA, NJ, OH, and WV.
- 2Deliver freight within a 700-mile radius of Front Royal, VA, averaging 1500 miles per week.
- 3Unload cargo using a powered pallet jack, following safety protocols.
- 4Maintain accurate logs and comply with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- 5Communicate dispatch updates and report any issues promptly.
- 6Inspect vehicle and equipment daily to ensure safe operation.
- 7Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
- 8Manage time effectively to meet scheduled deliveries and maximize home time.
Requirements8
- 1Valid Class A CDL with 3+ years of regional or over-the-road driving experience.
- 2No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years and 2 in the last 12 months.
- 3No DUI/DWI conviction within the last 5 years if prior to obtaining CDL.
- 4No two or more DUI/DWI convictions at any time.
- 5Pass a hair follicle drug test and background check.
- 6Ability to operate automatic transmission vehicles.
- 7Comfortable with semi-local schedules, including multiple home times per week.
- 8Must be at least 21 years old and meet FMCSA physical qualifications.
