Overview
You will own structural repair on heavy-duty commercial tractors and trailers at our Dallas terminal, handling major and minor collision work. You will repair fiberglass, replace body panels, and paint using your own tools. Join a team that does full collision repair on Kenworth, Freightliner, and Peterbilt trucks. This role offers multiple shifts and the chance to work on a diverse fleet daily.
What You'll Do8
- 1Perform collision repair on truck cabs, including Bondo work and welding.
- 2Replace and align cab components, doors, and fiberglass parts.
- 3Install and repair bumpers, fenders, and side skirts.
- 4Repair frame rails and door frames to factory specs.
- 5Prime, seal, mask, and paint repaired areas.
- 6Replace windshields and buff finished surfaces.
- 7Diagnose structural damage and estimate repair scope.
- 8Work in tight spaces on and under trucks, using ladders and platforms.
Requirements8
- 12+ years performing Bondo work.
- 22+ years in collision repair.
- 32+ years in fiberglass repair.
- 4Own tools required.
- 5Collision repair certification a plus.
- 6Experience on Kenworth, Freightliner, or Peterbilt preferred.
- 7Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- 8Comfortable with exposure to noise, weather, and welding chemicals.
