What You'll Do8
- 1Repair vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards, focusing on Freightliner and Western Star models.
- 2Check parts against estimates and ensure proper parts are ordered and received for each job.
- 3Prepare vehicles for body repair work, including disassembly and surface prep.
- 4Notify management of additional repairs needed or issues that may affect quality or timeline.
- 5Maintain tools and equipment in proper working order, and keep a clean and safe work area.
- 6Wear all required safety gear, including respirators, and follow hazardous material handling rules.
- 7Comply with federal, state, and local regulations for paint, thinners, and waste disposal.
- 8Assist other technicians in repair and prepping tasks as needed.
Requirements4
- 1High school diploma or equivalent.
- 22-5 years of collision repair experience.
- 3Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment.
- 4I-CAR or ASE certifications are a bonus.
