Overview
You will own the safe and efficient operation of a tri-axle dump truck for WD Fox Trucking in Charlotte, NC. You will handle daily transport of materials to and from construction sites within a 50-mile radius. You will operate both manual and automatic transmissions. You will work Monday through Friday with 8-10 hour shifts. This role offers a flexible schedule and hourly pay of $25-$28.
What You'll Do8
- 1Drive and operate a tri-axle dump truck safely on highways and local roads.
- 2Load and unload materials using dump controls and hydraulic lifts.
- 3Inspect truck daily for mechanical issues and report any defects.
- 4Follow all DOT regulations and maintain a clean driving record.
- 5Communicate with dispatch on delivery updates and route changes.
- 6Complete and submit trip logs and delivery receipts.
- 7Assist with loading and securing loads to prevent shifting.
- 8Perform routine maintenance checks on tires, brakes, and fluids.
Requirements8
- 1Valid CDL A or CDL B license.
- 22+ years driving experience with dump trucks or heavy equipment.
- 3Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmissions.
- 4Comfortable driving tri-axle trucks and trailers.
- 5Clean driving record and DOT medical card.
- 6Willingness to work Monday-Friday with 8-10 hour shifts.
- 7Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions.
