Traveling Industrial Electrician Foreman Journeyman Apprentices
Overview
Own on site electrical construction across large industrial facilities and travel to project locations. Manage conduit installation, bending, and electrical assemblies on major industrial projects. Work with foremen, superintendents, and trades to meet schedules while upholding safety and quality. This role combines hands on field work with mentorship of apprentices and extended travel.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and install conduit systems including PVC, Rigid, GRC, EMT across industrial facilities to project standards
- 2Read and interpret electrical blueprints and one lines to guide installation and terminations
- 3Perform advanced conduit bending including offsets and complex routing to exact specs
- 4Coordinate with foremen, general foremen, superintendents and other trades to maintain project schedules
- 5Travel extensively, support apprentices, and maintain clean organized work areas
- 6Identify safety, quality, material or schedule issues and communicate them to leadership
- 7Operate lifts and construction equipment safely when qualified
- 8Maintain and care for tools and equipment to ensure reliability
- 9PURSUE process improvements and reduce waste on job sites
- 10Commit to NEC and project specifications while delivering high quality electrical work
Requirements5
- 1Minimum of 5 years of electrical experience in industrial, commercial, or heavy industrial construction
- 2Strong conduit installation and bending experience with large quantities and complex routing
- 3Ability to read electrical drawings, one lines, layouts, and installation details
- 4Working knowledge of the NEC and standard electrical construction practices
- 5Must have valid driver`s license and willingness to travel extensively for extended periods
