What You'll Do10

  • 1Build diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultation SLP services in assigned schools and classrooms
  • 2Design and participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
  • 3Deliver both in-person and virtual services and adapt to teletherapy as needed
  • 4Maintain required documentation and manage caseloads efficiently
  • 5Potentially supervise SLPAs and support staff as needed
  • 6Communicate effectively with families, teachers, and administrators
  • 7Contribute to program advancement by applying both traditional and innovative practices
  • 8Support diverse preK to D/HH populations across multiple sites
  • 9Participate in administrative tasks and maintain compliance with school policies
  • 10Engage in ongoing professional development and clinical growth

Requirements10

  • 1Valid SLP license and/or eligibility for North Carolina certification
  • 2CCC-SLP or CFY completion
  • 3Pediatric school-based experience preferred
  • 4Experience with IEPs and multi-site caseloads (preK elementary D/HH)
  • 5Familiarity with teletherapy and indirect service delivery models a plus
  • 6Ability to supervise SLPAs if needed
  • 7Strong communication, organization, and adaptability skills
  • 8Willingness to travel between sites in Gastonia area
