Travel ER Nurse, Los Angeles CA - 10 Week Contract
Overview
You will deliver direct patient care across a 10-week travel assignment in Los Angeles, covering 36 hours per week as a Registered Nurse in home healthcare and hospice settings. You will own the full nursing process from assessment to care plan adjustment, coordinating with an interdisciplinary team. This role demands California RN licensure, ACLS, BLS/CPR, and EPIC EMR experience. You will start on 09/14/2026, working 3x12-hour day shifts. You will also supervise nursing staff and ensure accurate documentation, making a direct impact on patient outcomes in a hospice environment.
What You'll Do7
- 1Deliver direct nursing care to assigned patients, following the nursing process and EPIC EMR documentation standards.
- 2Collect and document health data, assess patient needs, and identify care issues within the first 30 days.
- 3Develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinating with the interdisciplinary team using EPIC EMR.
- 4Monitor patient progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust care plans as needed by week 6.
- 5Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff, delegating duties appropriately.
- 6Participate in discharge planning and provide education to patients and families.
- 7Maintain a safe and healing environment, ensuring accurate documentation in EPIC EMR.

- 52+ years of recent nursing experience in home healthcare or hospice.
- 6BSN preferred; acute care hospital experience desirable.
