Travel RN Labor Delivery
Overview
American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for a night shift Labor and Delivery position in Los Angeles. This role requires a CA RN license and EPIC charting expertise. The ideal candidate will manage high-risk pregnancies and provide comprehensive neonatal care.
What You'll Do9
- 1Perform circulating and scrub duties for C-sections and assist with vaginal deliveries
- 2Manage high-risk conditions including pre-eclampsia and placenta previa
- 3Provide neonatal resuscitation and newborn assessments
- 4Administer medications such as Pitocin and magnesium sulfate
- 5Support breastfeeding through lactation assistance and pump usage
- 6Conduct obstetric triage and high-risk antepartum care
- 7Assist with VBAC management and hemorrhage/shock situations
- 8Deliver newborns with thermoregulation and phototherapy
- 9Maintain accurate EPIC EMR documentation
Requirements11
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2CA RN license required in-hand at time of application
- 3ACLS BLS NRP certifications required
- 4AWHONN Advanced certification preferred
- 5Minimum 2 years Labor and Delivery experience
- 6Minimum 1 year acute care experience
- 7At least 1 year full-time equivalent experience in specialty area
- 8Prior travel nursing experience required
- 9EPIC charting experience required
- 10Two supervisor references required at time of application
- 11EKG exam must be passed (up to 3 attempts)
