What You'll Do9

  • 1Build and lead transportation design projects from pursuit through delivery ensuring adherence to agency standards and client expectations
  • 2Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across roadway drainage utility and traffic design to achieve project objectives
  • 3Manage scope schedule budget quality and risk across multiple projects with a focus on DOT and municipal clients
  • 4Mentor and develop emerging engineers and project leaders to strengthen the Utah practice
  • 5Drive business development and proposals with leadership to grow the transportation practice in northern Utah
  • 6Serve as primary client contact for UDOT and municipal agencies ensuring clear communication and stakeholder alignment
  • 7Oversee technical oversight and quality assurance across transportation design efforts
  • 8Collaborate with leadership on strategic growth initiatives and project opportunities
  • 9Support project delivery on active opportunities including site visits and coordination with construction teams

Requirements10

  • 1Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • 2Professional Engineer PE license required Utah licensure or ability to obtain within three months of hire
  • 3Minimum 12 years of relevant transportation design experience
  • 4Experience delivering DOT and/or municipal transportation projects
  • 5Proven ability to manage multiple projects priorities scope schedule and budget
  • 6Strong understanding of roadway drainage utility or traffic design
  • 7Excellent communication client management organization and leadership skills
  • 8Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks
  • 9Experience with ProjectWise or Bluebeam preferred
  • 10Experience mentoring or supervising staff preferred
