Overview
Independent Instructional Contractor for Traditional Art Enrichment Services K–12 Chicago onsite contract. Teach in person elementary middle high school after school for approximately 10 weeks per assignment. Compensation $50+ per hour. Provide safe inclusive creative learning environment.
What You'll Do8
- 1Plan and facilitate engaging age appropriate traditional art sessions
- 2Introduce foundational intermediate visual art concepts through hands on projects
- 3Adapt activities based on student experience materials and objectives
- 4Support creation of drawings paintings mixed media illustrations portfolios
- 5Maintain safe respectful inclusive learning environment
- 6Communicate concerns with Concorde and school staff
- 7Complete session completion forms after each scheduled session
- 8Follow site safety visitor classroom emergency student protection procedures
Requirements6
- 1Minimum 60 college credits where required
- 2Experience with traditional visual art drawing painting illustration mixed media
- 3Teaching experience with school age students
- 4Strong communication organization facilitation skills
- 5Availability for assigned schedule and timely issue communication
- 6Ability to demonstrate artistic techniques while fostering creativity confidence skill development
