Overview
Own on-site classroom operations and support early childhood development at a private preschool. Drive social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth for children from infant to preschool age within the Primrose Balanced Learning approach. Collaborate with a Leadership Team to align lesson plans, daily schedules, and family communications. This role offers hands-on classroom leadership in a supportive franchise environment.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build engaging daily activities aligned with the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum
- 2Design and implement the classroom schedule to support developmental milestones
- 3Assist in parent-teacher conferences and student evaluations with Leadership Team
- 4Maintain an attractive, well-kept classroom and safe play areas
- 5Provide clear expectations and positive behavior guidance for children
- 6Attend required staff meetings and school functions
- 7Support maintenance and housekeeping duties in classroom and playgrounds
- 8Support other capacities as determined by the Director or designee
Requirements5
- 1Must meet basic local regulatory agency requirements for child care
- 2Previous teaching or assistant teaching in a licensed early childhood program preferred
- 3Knowledge of social, emotional, and creative needs of young children
- 4Able to lift up to 35 lbs
- 5For infants and toddlers, able to lift infants into and out of a crib
