What You'll Do8
- 1Plan and facilitate engaging age‑appropriate Tibetan language sessions
- 2Introduce students to foundational vocabulary conversation pronunciation reading and writing Tibetan culture through interactive activities
- 3Adapt instruction based on student experience site requirements and program objectives
- 4Support speaking listening reading writing and cultural development using games discussions projects and other activities
- 5Maintain a safe respectful inclusive and age‑appropriate learning environment
- 6Communicate assignment needs or concerns with Concorde and school staff
- 7Complete a brief session completion form after each scheduled session
- 8Follow all site safety visitor classroom technology emergency and student‑protection procedures
Requirements6
- 1At least 60 college credits where required by the assignment
- 2Strong spoken and written Tibetan proficiency
- 3Experience teaching tutoring coaching mentoring or leading activities with school‑age students
- 4Excellent communication organization and classroom facilitation skills
- 5Availability to meet the accepted assignment schedule and notify promptly of any issues
- 6Ability to design engaging age‑appropriate language‑learning experiences
