What You'll Do8
- 1Design and lead engaging coding sessions tailored to elementary middle and high school learners
- 2Introduce foundational programming concepts through project‑based learning
- 3Adapt activities based on student experience and available technology
- 4Guide students in creating final projects such as games websites or applications
- 5Maintain a respectful inclusive and safe learning atmosphere
- 6Document session completion and communicate any concerns to site staff
- 7Follow all school safety visitor and technology procedures
- 8Collaborate with teachers to align instruction with curriculum goals
Requirements6
- 1Minimum 60 college credits if required by assignment
- 2Proven experience teaching coding programming computer science or related subjects
- 3Demonstrated ability to teach students ages K–12
- 4Strong communication organization and classroom facilitation skills
- 5Availability to meet the accepted schedule and notify promptly of conflicts
- 6Familiarity with Scratch Python HTMLCSS JavaScript or similar educational tools
