TIBCO Developer - BW 6.x, EMS & Containerization
Overview
You will own the TIBCO integration stack for the ONCOR EAI platform in Dallas, TX, building and deploying TIBCO BW 6.x and BWCE applications into Kubernetes and OpenShift. You will work onsite with the US Application Consultant team to design and deliver REST APIs, configure TIBCO EMS messaging, and ensure high availability with TIBCO HAWK. You will own containerized deployments using Docker, setting up the environment from day one. This role stands out for its focus on modern TIBCO containerization and direct impact on mission-critical energy infrastructure.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build and deploy TIBCO BW 6.x and BWCE integrations that handle real-time messaging via TIBCO EMS.
- 2Design and expose REST APIs to enable seamless data flow between ONCOR systems.
- 3Containerize TIBCO applications with Docker and deploy them into Kubernetes or OpenShift clusters.
- 4Configure and monitor TIBCO HAWK rules to ensure uptime and proactive alerting.
- 5Manage environments through TIBCO Enterprise Administrator for versioning and runtime control.
- 6Collaborate with the EAI team to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in the first 90 days.
- 7Document deployment and operational runbooks for the containerized integration platform.
- 8Drive the migration of legacy TIBCO services to BWCE with zero downtime.
Requirements8
- 15+ years developing with TIBCO BW 6.x and BWCE in production environments.
- 23+ years configuring TIBCO EMS for messaging patterns, including queues, topics, and failover.
- 33+ years using TIBCO HAWK for monitoring and rule-based automation.
- 42+ years administering TIBCO Enterprise Administrator for deployment and lifecycle management.
- 52+ years building and consuming REST APIs with BWstudio.
- 62+ years containerizing applications with Docker and deploying to Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- 71+ year experience with TIBCO BWCE in a cloud-native environment.
- 8Local to Dallas, TX and able to work onsite.
