Overview
You will own Teradata capacity reporting, producing weekly and monthly PowerPoint decks for executive review. Your work supports capacity planning across Teradata environments. You will collaborate with data engineers and architects to ensure data integrity. This contract role offers 12+ months of engagement with a hybrid schedule.
What You'll Do7
- 1Build Teradata SQL queries to extract capacity metrics for weekly and monthly reporting.
- 2Design PowerPoint dashboards that visualize capacity trends and forecast needs.
- 3Lead data validation processes to ensure accuracy of Teradata capacity data.
- 4Own the end-to-end reporting pipeline from data extraction to final presentation.
- 5Collaborate with architects to interpret Teradata performance data.
- 6Automate recurring report generation using SQL and Excel.
- 7Ship actionable insights to stakeholders, highlighting capacity risks and opportunities.
Requirements7
- 15+ years analyzing Teradata databases with advanced SQL skills.
- 23+ years creating executive-level PowerPoint presentations.
- 3Hands-on experience with Teradata tools like BTEQ and Teradata Studio.
- 42+ years in capacity planning or infrastructure reporting.
- 5Strong understanding of Teradata architecture and workload management.
- 6Proven ability to translate technical data into business insights.
- 7Experience with Excel pivot tables and data visualization.
Salary Insight
$60 - $70k per year
