What You'll Do7
- 1Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including licensing, collaboration, development, partnering, technology transfer, SaaS, and cloud services.
- 2Advise emerging companies, venture-backed businesses, and established tech companies on IP and commercial transaction matters.
- 3Counsel clients on technology strategy, product development, commercialization, and market positioning.
- 4Support corporate partnerships, strategic alliances, and licensing arrangements across technology and life sciences sectors.
- 5Advise on IP and technology issues in M&A, venture capital financings, public offerings, and corporate transactions.
- 6Conduct legal research on emerging technologies including AI, fintech, autonomous vehicles, edtech, renewable energy, cybersecurity, AR/VR, biotechnology, and digital health.
- 7Collaborate closely with corporate, IP, and venture capital attorneys on sophisticated transactional matters.
Requirements8
- 1J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission in the practicing jurisdiction.
- 22-4 years of experience in intellectual property and technology transactions.
- 3Proven track record drafting and negotiating commercial technology agreements.
- 4Strong interest in supporting M&A transactions, venture capital financings, and emerging growth companies.
- 5Excellent legal research, drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- 6Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
- 7Ability to manage multiple complex matters in a collaborative environment.
- 8Interest in advising innovative companies in cutting-edge technology and life sciences.
