Technician - Integration Engineering Hydraulics & Pneumatics Seattle WA
Overview
You will own integration of mechanical hydraulic pneumatic and electronic systems. This role supports Advanced Concepts and Enterprise Engineering ACE at Blue Origin. Responsibilities include test setup assembly component testing and implementation of development articles into production. The position requires passion for space and continuous learning.
What You'll Do11
- 1Modify assemble and complete test setups for various test articles
- 2Rebuild valves regulators and components
- 3Perform component level testing and troubleshooting
- 4Execute stainless steel tube bending flaring and swaging procedures
- 5Work with pressures up to 10000 psi and understand fittings fasteners
- 6Use shop tools machinery and acceptance test procedures
- 7Analyze sensor data pressure transducers load cells LVDTs thermocouples power supplies flowmeters
- 8Maintain clean room environments precision cleaning and oxygen level cleaning
- 9Develop and execute work instructions
- 10Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship products
- 11Ensure adherence to AS9100 FOD control Lean 5S practices
Requirements5
- 1Basic knowledge of hydraulics pneumatics electronics soldering helium nitrogen aircraft fluids AS9100 certification
- 22+ years experience in related field
- 3Lab processes test articles and maintaining safe environment
- 4Familiarity with CAD shop tools and equipment
- 5U.S. citizenship permanent resident or legal entrant ability to review export controlled information
