Overview
Lead development of AGC-owned application-level FFKM capability for semiconductor applications. Ownership of specification-in process and cross-functional collaboration. Drive market-ready data and enable OEM go-to-market execution.
What You'll Do14
- 1Lead development of seal-relevant FFKM application data including compression set plasma resistance cryogenic behavior and thermal limits
- 2Translate material properties into application-level performance evidence for semiconductor OEM evaluation
- 3Develop and optimize FFKM compound formulations covering mixing milling molding and cure processes
- 4Bridge laboratory development work to manufacturing feasibility and scalability
- 5Serve as technical lead for semiconductor OEM and seal manufacturer engagements supporting new platform qualification
- 6Translate laboratory results into customer-facing technical narratives supporting specification-in
- 7Act as primary technical interface between global R&D Japan Exton application teams and commercial teams
- 8Define standards for market-ready application data and internal testing methodologies
- 9Identify and execute development programs aligned with semiconductor go-to-market strategy
- 10Develop and deliver technical presentations and publications for targeted industry trade shows conferences and webinars
- 11Contribute to long-term capability development and knowledge transfer across adjacent application areas
- 12May supervise technicians or junior engineers focusing on technical leadership
- 13Operate laboratory and pilot-scale equipment
- 14Navigate various company locations and travel to customer and manufacturing sites
Requirements10
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons experience in elastomer or high-performance polymer applications
- 3Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry Polymer Science Chemical Engineering or related field
- 4Strong experimental and problem-solving skills in applied materials development
- 5Practical understanding of fillers cure systems and processing trade-offs
- 6Ability to connect material properties to processing behavior and application performance
- 7Capability to independently design execute and interpret experimental programs
- 8Physical Requirements prolonged stationary desk work and occasional travel
- 9Experience bridging laboratory work to real-world manufacturing constraints
- 10Proficiency with laboratory and pilot-scale equipment
