Technical Project Manager, IT Infrastructure & Cloud
Overview
You will own delivery of multiple IT projects simultaneously at a Dallas-based enterprise, coordinating incident and enhancement tracking across cross-functional teams. Working hybrid in Frisco, TX, you will drive project timelines with Jira and Azure DevOps while reporting to leadership. You bridge business and technical gaps, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders and engineers. This 6+ month contract role demands 3-5 years of technical project management experience and a bias for action.
What You'll Do7
- 1Track and prioritize multiple incidents, enhancements, and projects concurrently using Jira and Azure DevOps.
- 2Drive project kickoffs and daily standups, removing blockers for engineering teams.
- 3Communicate status and risks to stakeholders, business partners, and leadership weekly.
- 4Translate business requirements into technical tasks for developers and engineers.
- 5Manage resource allocation across concurrent initiatives, balancing scope, timeline, and quality.
- 6Own project documentation, including RAID logs and status reports, in Confluence.
- 7Coordinate UAT and release activities with QA and operations teams.
Requirements6
- 13-5 years of technical project management experience in IT or software delivery.
- 2Strong track record managing multiple priorities and incidents in a matrix environment.
- 3Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and MS Project.
- 4Excellent verbal and written communication with executive presence.
- 5Proven skill bridging business requirements and technical solutions.
- 6Ability to work hybrid in Frisco, TX, and commute to Dallas as needed.
