Technical Project Manager, IoT Deployment
Overview
You will own a large-scale global deployment initiative for connected devices and IoT technologies. You will coordinate technical infrastructure deployments across multiple regions, working with engineering teams to integrate APIs and ensure network readiness. This is a hands-on deployment role, not a traditional program management position. You will drive deployment readiness activities and manage cross-functional dependencies to deliver on time and within budget.
What You'll Do7
- 1Drive the global rollout of IoT connected devices, coordinating technical infrastructure deployments across multiple sites.
- 2Coordinate API integrations and data flows between devices, platforms, and backend systems.
- 3Manage deployment readiness activities, including environment setup, validation, and go/no-go criteria.
- 4Lead cross-functional teams through the deployment lifecycle, from planning to execution and hypercare.
- 5Troubleshoot deployment blockers and escalate technical issues to engineering teams for resolution.
- 6Facilitate communication between stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to align on milestones and risks.
- 7Track deployment progress against schedule and budget, providing regular status updates to leadership.
Requirements6
- 15+ years of experience in technical project management, specifically leading infrastructure or IoT deployments.
- 2Proven experience coordinating IoT device rollouts and managing large-scale deployment initiatives.
- 3Hands-on experience with API integrations and data integration projects.
- 4Strong understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, VPN) and their impact on device connectivity.
- 5Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to lead remote teams.
- 6Experience with agile and waterfall methodologies, using tools like Jira and MS Project.
Salary Insight
$125 - $156k per year
