Overview
You will own system safety for the Anthem Integrated Flight Deck, a cloud-connected cockpit used across 90% of the world's aircraft. You'll develop and manage safety requirements, perform FHA, FTA, FMEA, and CMA analyses, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety is built into every subsystem. This role stands out because you'll work on a first-of-its-kind, always-on integrated cockpit that is redefining pilot-machine interaction. What You'll Do6
- 1Develop system safety requirements for the Anthem Flight Deck, ensuring allocation and traceability across subsystems.
- 2Collaborate with systems, software, and hardware teams to embed safety into design and architecture.
- 3Perform safety analyses including FHA, FTA, FMEA, and CMA on avionics interfaces.
- 4Support systems integration efforts, identifying and resolving safety impacts across subsystems.
- 5Drive compliance with aerospace standards and regulatory guidance, documenting evidence for certification.
- 6Review technical documentation and certification artifacts to achieve airworthiness approval.
Requirements6
- 1Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, or a technical discipline.
- 2Systems Engineering or Safety Engineering experience with the Anthem Flight Deck.
- 3Knowledge of the systems development lifecycle.
- 4Experience with CAFTA for fault tree analysis.
- 5Part 25 aircraft exposure in a safety role.
- 6Hands-on experience with system safety analyses: FHA, FTA, FMEA, CMA.
