Systems Engineer I, DoD IT & RMF
Overview
You will design and integrate enterprise IT systems for Navy LVC environments. You work with RMF, STIGs, and DoD architectures across global sites. The team spans engineering, integration, and documentation. This contract role offers $85k-$140k and requires Secret clearance eligibility.
What You'll Do8
- 1Design enterprise IT systems for Navy LVC environments, applying RMF and STIGs to meet security standards.
- 2Integrate and test hardware and software components in DoD test range operations.
- 3Document system architectures, configurations, and procedures for global environments.
- 4Analyze system configurations and recommend improvements for performance and security.
- 5Support integration of virtualization and cloud platforms, including AWS and RHCSA-based systems.
- 6Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure.
- 7Ensure compliance with DoD security policies and maintain system accreditation.
- 8Troubleshoot and resolve system issues across distributed LVC environments.
Requirements8
- 11-3 years in systems engineering or IT support.
- 2Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3Experience supporting enterprise IT environments, including Windows and Linux.
- 4Knowledge of RMF, STIGs, and DoD security frameworks.
- 5Eligibility for Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance; active clearance preferred.
- 6Familiarity with virtualization (e.g., VMware) and cloud platforms like AWS.
- 7Relevant certifications such as Security+, RHCSA, or AWS Certified.
- 8Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex technical environments.
