System Integration Specialist - JIRA GitLab Azure AD
Overview
You will own the integration of JIRA and GitLab to enable automated workflows for task tracking, reporting, and approvals. Establish authentication with Azure AD to enforce CAC/PIV access controls per DoD policy. Submit the System Interoperability & Security Integration Report. This role supports a DoD customer's federated data ecosystem, bridging operational gaps between agencies.

- 1Configure automated workflows between JIRA and GitLab for task tracking, reporting, and approvals.
- 2Integrate authentication with Azure AD to enforce CAC/PIV access controls.
- 3Document authentication measures and integration workflows in the System Interoperability & Security Integration Report.
- 4Implement secure identity federation and single sign-on using OAuth and SAML.
- 5Develop API-based solutions to sync data and automate processes between platforms.
- 6Deploy and manage secure authentication protocols to comply with DoD identity management policies.
- 7Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure system interoperability and data flow.
- 8Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to maintain seamless operations.
Requirements7
- 1Active in-scope TS/SCI clearance.
- 2Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, IT, or related field, or 5+ years equivalent experience.
- 35+ years integrating JIRA, GitLab, and IT service management tools.
- 45+ years working with API integrations and system interoperability.
- 53+ years scripting with Python or PowerShell for automation.
- 63+ years implementing OAuth and SAML for secure identity federation.
- 7ITIL Foundation Certification or Azure Solutions Architect preferred.
